​Unrooted Drinks is a beverage company that offers a variety of health-focused shots, each infused with the nutrient-rich African baobab fruit.
You’ll find them in nationwide stores such as Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Ocado and Holland & Barrett.
As part of a collaboration with Disney’s The Lion King on their upcoming film Mufasa: The Lion King, Unrooted were looking to run a competition campaign to capture attention, visibility and build smart re-targeting lists.

The Approach
Smart Structure – Structured the account with a blend of granular interests at scale, alongside broad targeting and a/b tested. Retail Data – Used retail data to structure campaigns to drive awareness in Sainsbury’s, Tesco etc. Audience Segmentation – Segmented users and built personalised Ads alongside the brand awareness ads.
The Results
The campaign achieved 12,266 sign-ups in total (145% over target) with 5000+ in the first 7 days!
